- The QLN helps groups determine what ICT’s would best suit their
needs and their budgets. This includes suggesting the most appropriate
hardware—the computers, or teleconferencing units, for example—and/or
the software solutions that would best enable these groups to communicate
or deliver their services to their members or constituents.
- Provides training in the use of ICTs to groups and to their constituents.
- Works with groups to secure funding for their ICT-based projects.
- Identifies and brings together organizations whose individual areas
of expertise can provide the essential components of a larger project.
- Facilitates technology-supported workshops and learning events.
- Manages projects cooperatively with other community partners.
